Defending clients from across Saskatchewan at trial and on appeal
Good people face criminal charges. Many of my clients are facing charges for the first time in their lives. But no matter what your situation, I firmly believe that everyone deserves a defence. I’ve successfully defended clients at all levels of court in Saskatchewan both at trial and on appeal.
I regularly appeal convictions (findings of guilt) and sentences (punishment) to both the Court of King's Bench and the Court of Appeal for Saskatchewan.
Just some of the charges I regularly defend include assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm, aggravated assault, and robbery.
I defend all impaired driving charges, including DUI, "over .08", and refusing to provide a breath sample, including in cases of injury or death.
I have ran judge-alone and jury trials for charges of sexual assault, sexual interference, sexual exploitation, and invitation to sexual touching.
I can assist with all drug charges, including trafficking, possession for the purpose of trafficking, importing, and production charges.
I regularly assist clients with charges of mischief, theft, arson, break & enter, fraud, forgery, and possession of property obtained by crime.
Based in Saskatoon, I practice solely in the area of criminal defence. I defend most criminal charges, with my specialities including impaired driving, drug trafficking, and appeals. I’m able to assist with everything from simple cases of assault or theft to complex cases of fraud or homicide.
I’m experienced and spend my days in court running bail hearings, trials, and appeals. I’m affordable, transparent about my fees, and offer payment plans to every client. And I travel across Saskatchewan (and the prairies!) to defend you. In fact, I’ve probably already been to your local courthouse.
